Are the hotels in Lille fully booked for the Braderie? Roubaix and Tourcoing are excellent alternatives. These two neighbouring cities offer cheaper accommodation and quick access to the centre of Lille by metro.
Why choose Roubaix or Tourcoing?
Hotel prices there are 30 to 50% lower than in central Lille. Both cities are served by metro line 2, which runs non-stop on Saturday night. The journey from Roubaix to Lille Flandres station takes about 20 minutes, and from Tourcoing to Lille about 25 minutes. You can sleep in peace while being just a few stops from the Braderie.

Make the most of your stay by discovering these cities, which are in the middle of a renaissance. In Roubaix, La Piscine – Musée d’Art et d’Industrie is a magnificent museum set in a former Art Deco swimming pool. L’Usine in Roubaix (a designer outlet) is perfect for shopping fans. In Tourcoing, the MUba Eugène Leroy (fine arts museum) and the church of Saint-Christophe are worth the detour.
